day SEVEN. technically it should be day six because i went back a day, but blah.

i'm broke. literally. but kinda happy? keep reading if you want to know why...but i'm guessing you probs know why hahaha

hum, so, at breakfast, i was quite disappointed. i saw the "pancakes" label on the table, and i opened up the lid of the hot thing thing and guess what
no pancakes
but french toast
GOOD JOB NOVOTEL CAFE PEOPLE, GOOD JOB.
okay at least maple syrup was there =="
anywa yi had the usual, egg white, cereal, ham with cottage cheese and fruit.
i'm so sick of it ughhh >____>"
and i'm sick of congee, noodles, dumplings, wontons, rice, bread...
i miss.. um... I MISS MY ALMONDS AND BOILED WATER *SOB SOB SOB*

haha, so, we then went to get congee and wontons for my grandparents, and as usual i slept in the car, like SID, FROM ICE AGE APPARENTLY LOL WTH and dropped them off at their nursing home.
then we went SHOPPING!!!
three words
OH
MY
GAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWD.

the shopping area was basically just heaps of stores, all pretty big, at dfo prices so like 40-70% off in every store. they were all outdoor though, which was really bad because outside was like -5 dgrees and inside 25 degrees or something warm like that, so it was swtiching from warm to cold warm to cold warm to cold
and i was too lazy to keep my jacket on for the whole time, so, i'm expecting to get sick soon...
hopefully my daily citrus fruits at breakfast will keep my vitamin c up!

first store we went to was this home living one.
OMGGGG they had this whole aisle, of all these awesome special foods
there was this tin of flavoured sugar, and you invert some onto the rim of the lid, and you dip the rim of the mug of coffee or tea or whatever onto it, so when you drink yoru tea, you have a rim of flavoured sugar! GENIUS!!!!!!
and there were other awesome foods bahah there was this jar of layered cookie mix. so pretty!
it was..3/4 of first layer was flour, then a layer of brown sugar, a layer of caster sugar, another layer of brown sugar and then choc chips
i tried to get them to all mush up by shaking it but then the person started giving me this pissed off look so i stopped......
and there was this GINORMOUS mixing bowl, would've bought but wtf as if i'd be able to bring it back LOL be like this bulge in the suitcase..speaking of my suitcase it's overflowing
i think i'll have to leave some clothes at hong kong or give to homeless people :)

next was electronic store, i just stood in front of the harry poter blu ray dvd LOL

hmm. before i forget
embarrassing moment from dad number 3:

my dad's jacket is this poofy, waterproof bright fluro orange one. and he always wears a black beanie, which bobs over his head.
now, everybody in toronto wears dark colorus in winter, so their jackets are either black or dark brown
meaning, my dad really stood out. and people kept staring at him. AND he wore sunglasses WTF?!

therefore, me and viv decided that whenever possible we would act like we didn't know this man, because, honestly, HE LOOKED LIKE A WALKING ORANGE.
i have a strange family.
and since i'm on the topic of strange family members, i'll mention my grandpa.
my grandpa LOVES to eat. he east anything. but it's kind of cute haha. anyway, everyday we've been getting them congee and wonton and noodles etc etc. so today when we visited him, he was in a really good mood cos we brought him food
and he's like
"i am going to stay in this nursing home for the rest of my life. but i am very very happy! because they give me free food! and they have nice food! and i like to eat!"

"whenever you go to grocery store, asian, european, costco, whatever. make sure you buy the black grapes! they are very very cheap! and veerryy sweet! the sweetest! gong gong [grandpa in canto] likes to eat them! so whenever you go, you buy three packets, two for you and one for me! ahh, i like to eat them. i can eat a whole bag"

"ahh, that was very good [after finishing congee]. ahh it's 4 30! nearly time for dinner [he eats at 5]. good, more food! and then after that is snack time!"
and since this is in a fobby accent and grammar, makes it even more funny. anyway enough about weird family members!

HIGHLIGHTS:
1. went shopping!!!!! oh man, all you girls out there, i feel so lucky, being able to experience sooo many stores that are bigger than ones in shopping centres, and ones that are exclusive to usa and stuff ANNNNND ARE ON SALE!!!
i will put a separate post on that...=D
2. it snowed! like, full on snowed!!! all the cars went all white because of the snow. they're called "flurries"
me and viv took lots of pics, we tried to eat the snow by standing with our mouths wide open but that just look really retarded and it wasn't working, and we took vids too! i picked some snow up and took a pic, arghh my hands were dying when that happened haha. so weird, in the afternoon it was colder and it was really windy, but not snowing, but in the evening when it WAS snowing it was warmer?
meh, at least it meant i could spend more time outside taking photos and not freezing
3. i think we're going to new york on saturday! if i don't get internet i'll cry, i'll be having MASSIVE blogs about that
meh, as long as i have heaps and heaps of pictures, i'm happy enough =)
4. when i go to hong kong i get a haircut, and maybe i'll suck up to my mum to let me get highlights...
POST A COMMENT and tell me what haircut i should get and what colour XD
anybody know any streets that have good hair salons in hk? and grace i know you told me but uhhh i cbs looking for it in our long emails
5. i'm wearing my awesome nike top!
